Overview
Flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC), or super sacks, are woven polypropylene structures used for powders and granules. This product covers clean PP jumbo bags (Grade A) in bale, PP big bags in bales, PP jumbo bags, and super sack bags—naming variants for similar PP woven-bag scrap categories.
PP woven fabric is high-tenacity with UV stabilisers and often calcium carbonate filler in tapes. Inner liners may be PE or coated PP; discharge spouts and document pockets add foreign polymers unless removed.
Construction elements
- Woven PP tapes (often UV-stabilised)
- Polyester or polypropylene lifting loops and sewing thread
- Optional PE or coated inner liners
- Printing inks on outer panels
Recycling routes
Shredding, washing to remove soil and coatings, melt extrusion with filtration, and pelletising into thick-section or non-critical applications are common. High cleanliness supports higher-value PP pellet; contaminated loads may suit lower-spec moulding or alternative recovery permitted locally.
Physical properties
Recycled PP from bags tends toward higher melt strength when filler content is moderate; loop and thread fragments raise filtration load.
